Who is the Matrix 2.0 for?

Hunters who want a dependable, affordable cell cam on the Command PRO app.

Do I need a data plan?

Yes. Plans are bought through the Command PRO app, which also lets you request on-demand photos.

Where should you set up the Matrix 2.0?

Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 16–28 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 80-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.

How long do the batteries last?

Battery life depends on how many photos the Matrix 2.0 takes and sends, the signal strength and the temperature. Sixteen lithium AA batteries last far longer than alkaline in cold weather, so use lithium from late fall onward. On a busy food plot, longer delays and fewer photos per trigger stretch battery life, and an external power source is the best option if you want to check the camera less often.
