GoCam 2 or GoLive 3?
The GoLive 3 adds live streaming and a wide 96° view; the GoCam 2 is the simpler, lower-cost photo-and-video camera.
Is the flex antenna compatible?
No. Spartan notes the Flex Antenna does not fit the GoCam 2.
Do I need a data plan?
Yes. Cellular plans are purchased through the Spartan app. The camera keeps saving images locally when there is no signal.
Where should you set up the GoCam 2?
Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 16–28 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 80-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.
