Who is the Razor HD 13-39×56 for?
Backpack hunters, sheep and goat hunters, and anyone who hikes long distances to glass. It is also a good second scope for hunters who own a full-size 85 mm model for truck-side glassing.
Is 39x enough magnification for hunting?
For most hunting, yes. Heat shimmer and haze usually limit useful magnification to 30–40x anyway, and the lower top end gives a brighter image in early and late light.
How does it compare with the Viper HD 11-33×50?
The Viper HD compact is a little lighter and cheaper; the Razor adds Vortex’s top-tier HD glass for sharper edges and better low-light contrast.
