Description
Vortex Fury HD 5000 Rangefinder Binoculars: glass and range in one tool. Ranges deer to 1,600 yds, reflective to 5,000 yds. 32.3 oz.
Carrying one tool instead of two saves weight, saves time and saves movement at the moment an animal stands up. The Fury HD 5000 combines full-size 10×42 HD glass with a long-range laser, so you can find an animal, judge it and get a distance without lowering your hands. Note: the Fury HD 5000 has been succeeded in the Vortex range; specs below are those published for this model.

Who is the Fury HD 5000 for?
Elk, mule deer and pronghorn hunters who spend hours glassing and need ranges on demand, and guides who want to range for clients without passing gear back and forth.
Are rangefinding binoculars better than a separate rangefinder?
For glassing-heavy western hunts, usually yes: you range exactly what you are looking at, with a steadier two-handed hold. For tree-stand bowhunting, a small handheld unit such as the Crossfire HD 1400 is lighter and simpler.
How does it compare with the Talon HD 10K?
The Talon HD 10K is Vortex’s current premium rangefinding binocular, reaching 2,400 yards on deer and 10,000 yards reflective, at roughly three times the price.
