Description

Swarovski ATX Spotting Scope: Swarovski Optik ATX angled eyepiece module for the modular ATX/STX/BTX spotting scope system. Pairs with 65-115 mm objectives. 28.6 oz.

The ATX/STX/BTX system is modular: you choose an eyepiece module (ATX angled, STX straight or BTX binocular) and an objective module (65, 85, 95 or 115 mm), and they lock together with a bayonet. You can change either part later, for example adding a 65 mm objective for backpack hunts and a 95 mm for long sessions from the truck. The ATX is the angled eyepiece, the most popular choice for hunters because it is comfortable for long sessions and easy to share.

Who is the ATX eyepiece for?

Serious hunters and guides who glass for long sessions and want a system they can adapt: a light 65 mm objective for sheep and goat hunts, and a large 95 or 115 mm for glassing from a vehicle or base camp.

Do I need to buy an objective module separately?

Yes. This listing is the ATX eyepiece only. Add a Swarovski objective module to complete the scope.

ATX angled or STX straight?

Angled (ATX) suits long tripod sessions and glassing uphill; straight (STX) is quicker for picking up moving animals and for downhill glassing.
