Who is the GMAX32V for?
Hunters who want to review photos at the camera, and anyone who prefers SD card cameras with no monthly plan.
Where should you set up the GMAX32V?
Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 16–28 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 80-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.
How do you get the most from the built-in viewer?
Use the screen while you are setting up: take a test photo, check that the deer trail or scrape fills the frame, and adjust the angle before you walk away. On later visits you can scroll through the newest photos at the tree and decide whether to move the camera without carrying a card reader or phone. Use lithium AA batteries in cold weather, keep a spare SD card so you can swap cards quickly, and use the 12 V input with an external battery if the camera watches a busy food plot for weeks at a time.
