Reveal X 3.0 or 4.0?
The Reveal X 4.0 adds FlexPack rechargeable power and simultaneous photo and video; the 3.0 saves $30.
Do I need a data plan?
Yes. Plans are purchased in the Reveal app, from a low-cost photo plan to unlimited. Some extras, such as live streaming, need an add-on subscription.
Where should you set up the Reveal X 3.0?
Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 12–21 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 60-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.
