Description
Ridgetec Lookout X Cellular Trail Camera: no-glow cellular trail camera, up to 48 MP and 4K, multi-carrier SIM (US and Canada), two-way control, 12 V solar ready.
The Lookout-X stands out for connectivity: one SIM works with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and US Cellular in the USA and Bell, Rogers and Telus in Canada, which makes it a strong choice for hunters near the border or who hunt in both countries. Settings such as PIR sensitivity can be changed remotely.

Who is the Lookout-X for?
Hunters in Canada or near the border, and anyone in areas where one carrier is unreliable.
Can I use 18650 batteries?
Yes, four 18650 lithium-ion cells, which last longer than AAs in cold weather.
Do I need a data plan?
Yes. Cellular plans are purchased through the Ridgetec app and web portal. The camera keeps saving images locally when there is no signal.
Where should you set up the Lookout-X?
Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 16–28 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 80-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.
