Description
Browning Defender Pro Scout Max Solar Trail Camera: built-in solar cellular trail camera, 0.2 s trigger, 100 ft detection, AT&T/Verizon, 1.5″ color screen.
Batteries are the main reason cellular cameras go dark mid-season. The Pro Scout Max HD Solar builds the panel into the camera, so there is nothing extra to mount or cable, and it can still run on 8 AA batteries or external power. A 1.5-inch color screen makes it easy to aim the camera during setup.

Who is the Solar model for?
Hunters with cameras in remote spots they cannot visit often, and anyone tired of swapping batteries in cellular cameras.
Does the solar panel work in the woods?
It needs a few hours of light each day. Mount it where the panel sees open sky, such as a field edge, and avoid deep shade.
Where should you set up the Defender Pro Scout Max HD Solar?
Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 20–35 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 100-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.
