How do you mount the A60?
The ridged back grips the tree so the camera does not slip or twist, and two standard 1/4-inch-20 threads let you put it on a tripod, a ground stake or a tree-screw mount. Hang it about waist height, 10 to 20 feet from where deer will pass, and use the color screen to check your framing before you leave.
What settings should you start with?
For trails, use photo plus short video so you see both a clear still and how deer move. On a food plot, add a longer delay so the card does not fill with the same deer. Use lithium batteries in cold weather and keep a spare SD card to swap on each visit.
