Who is the DS4K Transmit for?
Hunters who want a fast trigger and 4K video from a cellular camera on trails and scrapes.
Do I need a data plan?
Yes. Plans are bought through Stealth Cam’s Command PRO app. Without signal, the camera keeps saving images to internal memory and sends them when it reconnects.
Where should you set up the DS4K Transmit?
Strap it to a tree 3–4 ft high and about 20–35 ft from the trail, scrape or feeder you want to watch, angled slightly across the travel route rather than straight at it. With a 100-ft detection range it can cover a food plot edge, but most of the sharpest photos come from the first 30–40 ft. Face it north or south where possible so sunrise and sunset do not trigger false images or blow out the frame.
Why does a dual-sensor camera take better photos?
Most trail cameras use one image sensor for both day and night, which is a compromise. The DS4K Transmit uses one sensor tuned for daylight color and detail and another tuned for infrared at night, so you get sharper daytime photos for judging antlers and cleaner night images without washed-out deer.
