Description

SIG SAUER KILO5K Rangefinder: 5,000 yd reflective, 2,000 yd deer, Applied Ballistics Ultralite, BDX Bluetooth, 7.5 oz.99.

The KILO5K does more than measure distance. Its onboard Applied Ballistics Ultralite engine uses the bullet profile you load through the SIG BDX app, plus its own temperature, pressure and humidity sensors, to calculate holdover and wind hold out to 800 yards. Pair it with a Kestrel Elite or Garmin Foretrex through BDX-X for solutions beyond that.

Who is the KILO5K for?

Western rifle hunters and long-range shooters who want holdover and wind values in the display instead of a dope card or phone app.

How does Applied Ballistics on a rangefinder work?

You load your rifle’s bullet and muzzle velocity into the SIG BDX app once. The rangefinder then combines the measured distance, shot angle and live weather readings to display the exact hold for that shot.

KILO5K vs Leupold RX-5000

Both reach about 5,000 yards reflective. The KILO5K offers full Applied Ballistics and Bluetooth; the Leupold RX-5000 TBR/W has 8x optics and a simpler built-in ballistic system.
